Author's Guidelines
Content
Topics should be in keeping with the grant mission of Delta Region AETC which is to educate clinicians about HIV/AIDS. Authors are generally experienced clinicians with HIV patients. Topics must pertain to HIV and have a clinical focus. Articles appear in columns devoted to specific disciplines: medicine, nursing, pharmacy, dentistry, mental health, nutrition.
Technical
Please email your submission to the editor at tnewto@lsuhsc.edu. Preferred length is 600-1200 words with some flexibility. Formatting should be kept to a minimum as most will have to be removed to allow for publication formatting. If your article contains symbols, charts or tables, you will be asked to mail a copy to the editor so we can check to make sure all characters came through as you intended (this is not in place of the emailed copy, rather in addition to).
General
HIV Clinician is published four times a year by Delta Region AIDS Education and Training Center, which educates clinicians (physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, dentists and pharmacists) in Louisiana, Mississippi and Arkansas about the rapidly-changing standards of care for individuals with HIV/AIDS. The AETCs are a program of the Ryan White CARE Act.
